The stilt mill probably dates from the second half of the 18th century. It probably served as a replacement for an even older mill dating from around 1500. The mill belonged for a long time - until the 20th century - to the Lords of Asten. In 1953, the mill was sold. After complete restoration in 1961, the mill was severely damaged by fire in 1970. In the period 1973-1975, it was rebuilt and placed on an artificial hill. On Saturdays, the mill is regularly used to grind grain.
This Standerdmolen was probably built in 1506. After being destroyed by storms several times in previous centuries and a severe fire in 1970, the mill is now in very good condition and runs regularly. Sometimes grain is also milled and the mill serves as a training mill for the Guild of Millers.
