Building G, consisted of two industrial work sheds. The building has been preserved and modernised. It is now The Theatre Shed, where heath days are organised for people and organisations. If you walk onto the grounds around Building G, you will see a colourful monument, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1973 wireless telegraph traffic with the Dutch East Indies.
Mrs Heespelink, wife of the then manager of the complex, conceived the monument, which is constructed from materials from the transmitting station. 25 phyton tether wires, a tube tensioner, profile irons and concrete tube blocks symbolise the connection across the oceans. It originally stood on another site, but was rebuilt here after copper thieves demolished it.
