A nobleman's house was built in a beautiful rural area in the Middle Ages. At the time, they benefited from the fertile land at the IJssel and Oude IJssel, but also from the emerging iron industry. The estate later served as a church, and now it is private property, and you can no longer view the house inside, but the estate is freely accessible. This castle belongs to one of the 'Eight castles' known in this region.
