The watchtower Belfort Vossenberg is a 22 m high watchtower on a terrain full of history. Here, soldiers fought for the freedom of the Netherlands during the Second World War and this can be seen, among other things, in the bunkers scattered around the tower. These bunkers, or casemates, were part of the Peel Barrage and have been designated as national monuments.
Apart from experiencing the history of war, you can of course also have a wonderful view of National Park De Groote Peel with hundreds of species of birds. Climb the Belfry and experience a literal highlight of the area!
