Near the Westfriese Omringdijk lies the small village of Valkkoog. At the heart of this village is this little church built in the 16th century with older brick materials. These materials probably came from an older church that first stood on this spot.
In 1871, the Adema brothers from Leeuwarden built the organ, which, like the church, is listed. The little church is the dream concert hall with wonderful acoustics, making it perfect for chamber music and piano recitals.

Outside concerts, the church is basically closed. But you can relax on the bench under the tree. There are also two swings there.
