Sneek, Akkrum, Warten

On almost the entire route, you cycle along or over water. Not surprising in the water province of the Netherlands. As a result, you will also encounter a number of small ferries that provide variety on the route. Hop on board and experience a holiday feeling in your own country!

Tip: Ask about sailing times in advance. Some ferries only sail in high season.

Apart from the cities, villages and ferries, you will also see a lot of nature during this route. You will come across several bird-watching huts that are not just for bird-watching, you can also just enjoy the view. Cycle through the Alde Feanen National Park, a nature reserve with a lot of variety in landscapes and, of course, lots of water.
