This is an area of approximately 1440 hectares, with a lot of heathland and shifting sand. The area used to be called 'the white mountains'. The Oirschotse Heide is regularly used as a military training area, so it is not always freely accessible.
This route leads you along the Wilhelmina canal, with the passing port of Oirschot. The village of Oirschot is a special place. The protected villagescape and more than 300 national and municipal monuments make this destination more than worth the cycle route!
