VVV Lochem is located in the striking Countsdale House on the Markt. Upon entering, you immediately taste Lochem's rich history. Seeing images of the town and its surroundings, hearing the stories and via interactive elements, your enthusiasm will be aroused. Castles, estates and accounts of sieges in the Eighty Years' War made Lochem what it is today.
On the first floor, you will find information about another infamous phase of Lochem's history. A permanent exhibition of Lochem in World War II takes you back to the hard and uncertain life of that time. The Liberation Museum especially takes you back to Lochem's liberators, focusing on 1 April 1945.
