Vijversburg House - Tytsjerk
The historic part of the park, designed by the garden architect Roodbaard and father and son Vlaskamp, was mostly laid out in the 19th century. It is owned by Foundation on Toutenburg. It is still a beautiful park where everything 'moves'. Visitors can stroll along the many winding paths and enjoy Villa Vijversburg, the grotto, blue dome, hermitage, orangery, aviary, rock garden, herb garden, the teahouse and the visual art collection. The park offers tranquillity and space. On the eastern side are 20 houses, enclosed by a large garden.
Huize Vijverburg cannot be visited, the surrounding parks can.
