If you want to enjoy the landscape of the Dommel Valley, climb the “t Meulke observation tower in Liempde. All around you see meadows surrounded by poplars. Further on are the ancient ”bulbous’ fields. In season, you can see the grain fields, which are why quail and partridge breed in abundance in the Dommel Valley. You can take in this varied landscape in peace and quiet from ‘t Meulke. The tower is also a favourite spot for birdwatchers.
