The church was built in the Middle Ages in 1200 on the spot where a host miracle is said to have occurred. A miracle that occurs twice, so people were convinced that God spoke through these miracles.
However, due to the renovations in the 18th and 19th centuries, very little can be found of the past of the little church, which at the time was dedicated to Saint Ursula. Only in the northeast corner of the church can you still see the original monastic bricks.
In 1892, the tower was built at this church. The church had a large pulpit and old organ, which was sold to another church in 1955. Pels, an organ company, made a new organ for the Ursula Church.
