A new travalje was also placed in Noordwelle in 2008 to honour the blacksmith's craft. The village's travalje had disappeared from the streetscape. The structure consists of oak pillars and a roof of wood and tiles. The Straô Committee Noordwelle contributed in the form of the bench next to the travalje.
Noordwelle is the third village where the Straô is held. Traditionally, the riders gather in the village with decorated horses, after which they ride in column to the Renesse beach. After the horses have had their salty sea bath, they ride back to Noordwelle and the party continues with ring stabbing on horseback and music.
