The Toon Kortoomspark consists of a museum about the writer, restaurant de Veenderij and a barefoot path.
The Toon Kortoomspark is located on the spot where the well-known novelist Toon Kortooms grew up. The park is about three hectares and is located in the middle of nature reserve De Peel, about which Toon wrote in his books such as 'Beekman and Beekman' and 'Help the doctor drown! The park has a museum, restaurant and a barefoot path.
In the museum the story of writer Toon Kortooms is told, where all his books and many special memories are on display.
De Veenderij is the restaurant with a terrace, from which you have a panoramic view over the extensive Peel. Two walls consist largely of glass and the corner formed by this can also be opened completely. In this way, you sit as it were in the Peel!
With the barefoot path you discover the Peel on your bare feet. You walk over different surfaces of the Peel landscapes.
