It is undoubtedly a form of marketing for the historic town, but it is convenient that Goedereede's tower is highlighted so beautifully. The former lighthouse briefly picks up its former function in the dark, this time for landlubbers. You can't climb the colossus, more than five hundred years old, for now. You can only do so during the day, and not all year round either. As a landmark on an island shrouded in darkness, however, it is unsurpassed. There is a mill and a church next to it, which are also bathed in light. So a night photo always works! By the way, the town dates back to the Middle Ages, but the place was already in use with the Romans.
