Amid the Brabant forests and moors of the Peel region lies De Rips, a small Brabant village with a rich reclamation history. This cute little wooden house dates back to those days and served as a canteen and accommodation for workers working far from home. It was popularly called the Peel Palace back then.
In 1922, its function changed to a residence for a large family. During World War II, it was used as an emergency house. In 2005, it was moved in its entirety to its current location and this small monument became a Teahouse. It remains so to this day.
Settle down here on the cosy terrace for a delicious cup of tea or coffee with fresh apple pie. Don't forget to take a look inside at the nostalgic furnishings and photos from days gone by.
