Four human figures in a row as the base: hunched over, with their backs straight, so children can jump over them with their legs spread. Each sculpture stands a little higher than the previous one, making it increasingly difficult. This sculpture was made back in 1999 for an exhibition in Putten, but in 2015 it was given a place in Nunspeet, where four children from the local gymnastics club unveiled the artwork by Leapfrogging.
Suzan Ollebek-Scheele (Othene, 1939) is a Nunspeet-based artist who creates paintings as well as sculptures. Initially as a hobby, but after training at the Free Academy, she increasingly made sculptures on commission as well.
