Zutphen's Old Town Hall consists of three medieval houses. Council meetings were presumably held there before 1371, due to a preserved wine bill for the ‘Raetcamer’ from that year. The front facade was built in 1716 and is already a work of art in itself. In the facade, you can see the emblems of war and the coat of arms of the Earldom of Zutphen.
Inside, there is a large welcome hall with a mirrored black and white tiled floor. There are rooms decorated as stylish council chambers. The back part is the Civic Hall, a large hall that feels like a church hall, with high vaulted beams and a characteristic facade and entrance of its own.
