Noordstar Windmill - Noordbroek
The mill was built in 1849 by order of J.N. Mulder, the son of the miller of the Aurora tower mill. This mill, built in 1833, was demolished in 1954. Because of their different sizes, the mills were often referred to as ‘father and son’.
The Noordstar underwent restoration in 1989, after which it was officially opened on 17 November 1990.
