Nature centre De Maashorst - Nistelrode
Nature centre De Maashorst is located in a monumental farmhouse. The interior and exterior of the farmhouse together form an exhibition about the Maashorst. The centre is the starting point and information point for many nature-oriented activities. The exhibition is meant for young and old and tells you about the varied landscape, the history of the area and the special geological phenomena.
Children get to know Tom and discover with him various inhabitants of the Maashorst. On the grounds of the Nature Centre you will find a playground that ties in with the exhibition. Children can look out over the farmyard like a bird, crawl through the corridors of a badger and move through the forest like a highlander. You can also visit an apiary.
