Museum Het Voorhuis - Bleskensgraaf
The historical farmhouse that houses Museum Het Voorhuis has not always stood on this spot in Bleskensgraaf. Until 2004, the farm stood in nearby Brandwijk and was threatened with demolition. The Historische Vereniging Binnenwaard took the initiative to move the farm and turn it into a museum. The beautiful building contains elements from several centuries and soil research on the original site has revealed traces and finds dating from the past five centuries.
The historical museum has a permanent collection that gives you an insight into life in this region over the past five centuries, as well as changing exhibitions on a variety of topics.
