In 1790 Henri Daniel Guyot founded the first Institute for the Deaf in Groningen. In the historic, colorful former boys' chapel in Sint-Michielsgestel you will find a unique museum that shows the development of technical aids and deaf education from that time until now. Initiator and curator Piet Borneman collected material and information that will be displayed in this museum for many years.
