In 1869, Jos van der Steijn built the mill, which was soon taken over by miller Antoon Jetten. His family retains ownership to this day. Following Antoon's son Piet in 1920, the mill was transferred to his son-in-law, J. van Kempen, in 1951. A restoration followed in 1954, preserving the mill's beautiful historic character.
