This round stone mountain or bell mill was built in 1900. In the woodwork, various parts have been reused from a demolished octagonal mill from elsewhere. The running gear comes from a mill in the vicinity of Rotterdam. In 1907, the de Leest family became the owners of this mill. This family of millers, from whom the mill takes its name, remained the owners until 1975. The municipality of Lieshout then became the owner and had the mill restored immediately, and in 1976 the mill was festively reopened. In 1989, the mill was given a major overhaul and is now in good condition again.
