Lunenburg Castle is located just before Langbroek. The castle is mentioned in writings as early as the 13th century. In the Second World War, it was almost completely destroyed. Fortunately, it was restored again with a tower that had to be well defended. The living quarters were also rebuilt. All walls are up to 1.5 metres thick!
Lunenburg is inhabited by the Fentener-Van Vlissingen family and cannot be visited inside.
