Just outside Orvelte is a reconstruction of an Iron Age farm. Add this break point to your cycling route and go briefly back in prehistoric times. In the 1970's, this farm was rebuilt with equipment that was probably used in the Iron Age. Staatsbosbeheer, the forest management agency, restored it in 2003 and now you can admire this Iron Age farm for free.
