Ice cream parlour L'Odore - Odoorn
The terrace of IJssalon L'Odore is a great place to relax after a nice bike ride. While enjoying artisanal Italian ice cream, fresh apple pie or a cappuccino, your legs will get their well-earned rest.
Odoorn, an esdorp, had an exclusively peasant population until well into the eighteenth century. Even the mayor, the minister and the schoolmaster were farmers at the same time.
Sights in Odoorn include several farms from the 12th and 13th centuries, dolmens and a Stone Age burial mound. In addition, Odoorn is home to the Drentse Wandel 4-daagse (Drenthe Walking Days).
