Hortus Botanicus Haren - Haren
The Hortus botanist Haren is one of the oldest and largest botanical gardens in the Netherlands. The Hortus has 20 hectares of gardens and on the grounds are a large number of very different gardens. There is a wild plant garden, a Celtic garden and a Chinese garden with an authentic Chinese teahouse. The University of Groningen owns the Hortus Haren. Artists are given the opportunity to exhibit several works in én of the many gardens in which these works are shown to their best advantage.

These opening hours are from March to November. From November till March daily opened from 11.00-16.00 hrs.
