This monumental farmhouse in Renesse dates from 1664. It is the last farm with a stepped gable in all of Schouwen-Duiveland. A special attraction, therefore!
The farm was last restored in 1955. The stepped gable consists of brick with decorative brickwork in red brick and decorative anchors. To the right, you can see a low extension containing the upstairs room and the cellar.
In the barn, you will find the typical Zeeland building style: black, pencilled roofing and a white outline. This characteristic building now houses an atmospheric B&B.
The garden has been transformed into a cosy tea garden, where you can enjoy home-made apple pie and freshly ground coffee, fresh tea and Zeeland juices during the summer months. A lovely place to pause your cycle route and take in the countryside, the beautiful farm and the peace and quiet.
The farm shop sells the farm's own honey.
