The Eendragtspolder has a unique combination of water storage, recreation and the internationally renowned Willem-Alexander rowing course. The polder also serves as water storage for the surrounding area and thus has an important function in keeping residents in the region dry.
It consists of two subareas separated by the meandering Slingerkade. Important rowing competitions are also regularly held there. From the cycle path, you have a beautiful view of the polder and the rowing course. Many unusual birds are spotted in the area, such as the sandpiper, the sacred ibis and the redshank.
