And. pocket and head lamps from campers and cyclists! Where that might happen on Goeree is even more or less predictable. This grasshopper particularly likes deciduous trees, oaks for instance. Its leaves are what the males need to lure their females to them with gentle drumming. Whether you will hear this despite your trained nocturnal senses remains to be seen. One tactic to find the critters is to wander over wooded parts of the island with a big torch. De Kleistee nature reserve is a good place for this. After all, you are allowed to stay here at night.
