The CODA Museum in Apeldoorn is the place to delve into modern, fine art, contemporary fashion and artist's jewellery by (inter)national designers and artists.
The collection, stemming from the former Van Reekum Museum, includes paintings, sculptures, artists' books, jewellery and more. The special thing about the collection is that the items are mainly made of paper and cardboard. This is not without reason: centuries ago, the paper industry was a thriving economy in Apeldoorn and its surroundings.
The jewellery collection is very impressive. CODA holds more than 9,000 objects, making it the largest collection of contemporary jewellery in the world.
A visit to the CODA Museum is surprising, inspiring and takes you along stories about the history of Apeldoorn and its surroundings.
