Café de Vlist has traditionally been a stopping place for nature lovers. Along the river Vlist, the Bonre pass where Napoleon used to be, located between the silver town of Schoonhoven, the witch-wagon town of Oudewater and the cheese town of Gouda. Here you will find many beautiful farms and for example the Bachtenaar and Bonrepas mill. During the day, business people, fishermen, hikers, cyclists, motorcycle enthusiasts, skaters, canoeists and solex riders find their way to Café de Vlist to enjoy coffee with apple pie, the extensive air menu and a drink with bitter garnish on the terrace (4th place in AD Terrassentest) ). Or in the café with a large bar, a beautiful spiral staircase and paneling of old panels and doors of which you can still see a keyhole here and there. Old radiators and even a pew belong to the interior. Do you prefer to sit in the conservatory overlooking the Vlist? That is also possible! Café de Vlist has an extensive dinner menu with a la carte dishes, the plate dishes and the monthly changing 3-course menu.
