In the middle of the Drenthe countryside lies tiny Amen, which is famous in the north of the Netherlands for Café De Amer. You can stop here en route for a snack and a drink in the sun or the shade. But that's not all the café has to offer....

De Amer has a small pop stage that regularly hosts fun performances. In summer, this happens on the available garden stage. There are also evenings full of literary readings. The agenda and programming of De Amer is maintained by volunteers.
