Bronckhorster Brewing Company - Rha

The Bronckhorster Brewing Company is in the small town of Rha, near the river IJssel and about three kilometres from Bronkhorst. Owner Steve Gammage is a native Englishman. During one of his many travels, he met a Dutch woman whom he can now call his wife. Then this man from Richmond moved to the Netherlands. He worked as a painter for many years, but when he turned 50 he decided to do things differently. He bought a farm in Rha and set it up as a brewery. And so the Bronckhorster Brewing Company was born.

Full of passion and love for the craft, craft beers are brewed, as well as new special beers on a regular basis. These include a series of Barrel Aged (BA) beers, which are aged in wooden barrels previously used to lager wine, sherry, rum or whiskey. The barrels give the beer a special flavour. But the range also includes beers with notes of peach, banana, chocolate, coffee and even a green coloured beer with hemp. Each season, you can expect another expansion of the range to suit the season!

You are welcome to taste the specialities in the Biergarten and the Tasting Room (advance booking is required). In the brewery shop, the beers are available separately and as fun gift packs.
