Bird-watching hut - De Wiedekiek - Dwarsgracht
There is a small round tower in the Beulakerpolder from which you can watch various birds. De Kiek, the name says it all from this tower you have a wide view over the area.
This area is part of the Wieden, a large area of over 109 hectares consisting of reedbeds, low moors and open water. Ribs divide the area into different compartments. The perfect environment for birds. If you're lucky, you'll see bearded warblers, mustelids and water rails, among others. You also have a chance of encountering the harmless grass snake.
