Welcome to the Archaeological Museum, a cultural-historical museum that tells the story of our own region. The story about (among other things) landscape, habitation, activity, customs, striking people, specific events. Usually on the basis of objects made and/or used in the region. Starting in the distant past, prehistory, up to about the year 1000; then a period between 'The story of Alphen' and about 1850 that ends in 'Grandmother's time'. The Archaeological Regional Museum in Alphen, a village with a rich history. Mainly based on the results of archaeological research, whether or not carried out scientifically.
