Ada Hofman's Pond Gardens - Loozen
Ada Hofman, an authority on pond gardens and author of several pond books laid out this beautiful pond garden in 1987. About 30 gardens, 50 ponds surround 3 large natural ponds that are a paradise for the released ring snakes, lizards, salamanders, frogs, hazelworms, many species of fish and flying birds and butterflies.
There is a roof garden with a 3-metre-high pond with stunning views over the pond garden. Ada shows that keeping pond water clear without chemicals or filters is quite possible in a natural way. Although she herself has not been personally involved in the gardens since 2015.
