Heiloo, Grootschermer, Alkmaar

From 7 to 11 August 2019, Alkmaar was dominated by the European Championship. The major cycling event was a draw for many sports enthusiasts. Why should we only use this route once? We have recycled the cycling route, supplemented with beautiful sights. With the polder, forest, beach and dunes around the corner, the area surrounding the cycling route is a delight for cyclists. Get on your own bike to admire the beauty of Alkmaar and its surroundings. Do not race too fast through the route and take the time to stop at Brasserie de Kerckhaen, who knows the area all too well and acts out of respect for nature. Supplement your experience with windmills, the Beatles Museum, various (world) shops and Nijenburg castle. ReCycle to Alkmaar and be surprised!
