De Keuken van Hackfort is all about ‘Pure Enjoyment’: enjoying all the goodness of the Achterhoek in its purest form. At Recreatiebospark De Reehorst you can enjoy the same pure Achterhoek experience. In collaboration with De Keuken van Hackfort and Recreatiebospark De Reehorst, we have created a number of Premium Pure Enjoyment Cycle routes. The routes take you to places where culinary products are produced, where you can experience and taste all the good things the Achterhoek has to offer. The grapes from the wine estates on this wine route are organically grown, with the winegrowers taking care of nature. Most of them work closely together through the United Achterhoek Winegrowers, which means the wines are of very high quality. Many wines have already won international awards!

Along the way you will pass De Fiere Wijnakker, where the grapes are grown naturally. During a tour of the grounds, you will see that attention is also paid to the nature surrounding the Wine estate. The edges of the fields are designed as hedgerows with flowers, herbs and grains, providing birds, small mammals and insects with a safe haven for food and breeding sites. Owners Anita and Erik will tell you all about their wine fields with great passion.

On the other side of Vorden, near Kranenburg, you will find the Kranenburg wine estate of the same name. On the fertile brook clay, vintner Henk grows his green tendrils. His wine estate covers some 1.5 hectares and is surrounded by large rows of trees. You can come here for guided tours, packages and wine tastings, as well as a game of skittles. A real bowling alley has been set up next to the vineyard.

For the Erve Zonnehoeve wine estate, you deviate a little from the route between junctions 64 and 67. This farm used to be a cattle farm where cattle and pigs were kept. Nowadays, the yard has been converted into a beautiful wine farm and you can imagine yourself in Mediterranean surroundings. And just in the Achterhoek! One of the Zonnehoeve's white wines is available at restaurant De Keuken van Hackfort: the Moj's Kieken. This accessible wine is spicy and has the fresh taste of apples and lemon.

Cycle through the beautiful countryside and hop off at the characteristic wine farms. Organic and sustainable grape growing creates wines without fuss, and that is exactly why they are so tasty! A cycling tour for pure enjoyment.
