Veluwe gravel route
Nunspeet, Apeldoorn, Vierhouten
This cycle route takes you across a beautiful part of the Veluwe and is made for gravel and touring cyclists. Do not expect only long gravel lanes or tracks, but definitely a delightful junction route of over 60 kilometres on which paved and unpaved roads alternate. You will pass through beautiful nature and discover a piece of Apeldoorn. Along the way, you see beautiful old and stately homes. You will also encounter traces of the Second World War, impressive stops during your cycle route. This route lets you climb, take sharp turns and challenging paths where you can sometimes pick up the pace. Disembark along the way or grab an overnight stay at StayOkay in Apeldoorn or at Restaurant Markt 11 in Nunspeet, where you can easily cycle along the back to the cosy village square and park your bike.
