Soest, Apeldoorn, Amersfoort
Time for a cycle route of regal allure! With a generous length of some 150 kilometres, this route takes you past the royal palaces Soestdijk and Het Loo. Cycle through the Crown Estate Het Loo, past the Versailles of the Netherlands and wave back to Juliana and Bernhard at their statue in Soestdijk. Add the two cathedrals to your cycle route and discover what they have to do with our royal family. Enjoy both city and nature in this piece of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Your stomach will grumble majestically with these kilometres in your legs, so get off your bike at one of the hotels where you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner and, of course, stay overnight. This route is suitable to do in several parts, so make a fun weekend of it! Please note: A large part of Kroondomein Het Loo, the core area, is only open from 25 December to 15 September. This also applies to the parking areas.
