E-chopper route Short but sweet in Kootwijk
Otterlo, Harskamp, Kootwijk
A route that combines history and nature in an insanely beautiful way. This cycle route is extra fun on an E-chopper. Rent one at Restaria Favoriet in Harskamp. Afterwards, visit the famous Radio Kootwijk, ride across the Kootwijkerzand and don't forget to climb the watchtower here. One sand is not the other, so this route also leads you along the beautiful Otterlose Zand. When driving across the Hoog Buurlose Heide, you might just run into a deer or wild boar. There is even a real lion in the Veluwe. De Vergulde Leeuw is the place to go for a well-earned break. As you ride through unspoilt nature on your E-chopper or electric bike, you will feel the relaxation. Well, then, there is only one thing you have to "worry" about: the beauty of nature. When will you come to discover this special environment? Tip: Between junctions 49 and 25, the cycle path is quite narrow and thus difficult to negotiate with E-choppers. From junction 49, therefore, follow the road back via the Harskamperweg/Otterloseweg.
