Between Ede and Veenendaal are several beautiful windmills that you should definitely take a look at. One of the most special mills in this area is the Doesburgermolen in Ede. With its rich history, this is one of the oldest working corn mills in the whole of the Netherlands. It is a valuable piece of heritage not to be missed. You are welcome to visit this historic mill on any Saturday, but if it is more convenient, you can also make an appointment. Another mill you will encounter along the way is Mill Concordia. Here you can buy delicious mill flour, which is perfect for baking at home. The taste is simply exquisite! Treat yourself to these artisanal products and make your own bread, cakes or other delicacies. This urban cycle route has a total distance of almost 40 km. But don't worry, there are plenty of places where you can take a break and enjoy a snack or a refreshing drink. Along the way, you will come across several cosy Pit stops where you can relax and replenish your energy. Treat yourself to a delicious meal, taste local delicacies or just enjoy a well-earned break in an atmospheric café.
