Starting from Haarlem, a historic city with cozy streets and beautiful canals, you follow the route along the banks of the Spaarne and enjoy the wide views of the polders. Along the way you will pass the famous windmill "De Adriaan" and modern windmills, offering a nice mix of history and innovation. The route then takes you to bustling Amsterdam, where you can experience the hustle and bustle of the city and visit the Stedelijk Museum. Here you can enjoy both modern and classical art. After a well-deserved break, you will cycle along the beautiful Nieuwe Meer, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. On the way back to Haarlem you can make another stop in the historic town of Halfweg, known for its sugar factory and the picturesque windmills along the Spaarndammerdijk.
