Oostkapelle, the name says it all: there used to be a chapel here. Just like in Westkapelle, by the way. But where Westkapelle developed, Oostkapelle remained a farming village for a long time. Only in the 20th century did Oostkapelle develop more into a seaside resort. The Sint Felix flood and the Allerheiligen flood washed away the town of Campen. After embankment, Kamperland was the last place to be rebuilt on the site of the former Campen. Rondje Pontje sails between 1 May and the last weekend of September on Tuesdays to Sundays. In July and August, it sails every day. Do you cycle the route when the ferry does not sail? Then instead of taking the ferry, you can cycle the route as a kind of eight. To do this, return from Veere (junction 36) to junction 32-31-30-03-02-01 and continue cycling the route as stated.
