As a Sneekweek fan, we don't have to tell you about the week full of sailing fun, competitions, music, good food and much more. Thousands of tourists come to Sneek every year to enjoy the festival. But there is also a Small Sneekweek, Swinging Sneek and the Sneker Simmer Kolkconcert. Whatever the party, there is always fun in the atmospheric water sports town! Terherne is especially known as Kameleondorp. For lovers of the children's books by Hotze de Roos, Terherne is a feast of recognition. Joure has had an annual market since 1482, the Jouster Merke. The market is often held at the end of September. If you are in Joure in August, you might just end up at the Romantic Market. Do you see an enormous procession of solexes or a sea of hot-air balloons in the sky? That too is a Frisian event: after all, the World Cup Solex Riding and the Frisian Balloon Festival are also held in the village of Joure. With this cycle route you will notice: it is always party time in Friesland! Note! Along the way, you will encounter a cycle ferry. This sails all year round.
