Barneveld, Lunteren, Ede, Bennekom

During this cycle route, you will discover all about farm life in Gelderland. You will cycle through Barneveld, the 'centre' of poultry farming. In the centre of the village is the Poultry Museum, where you can learn everything about the history of poultry farming. Along the way, you can also visit Museumboerderij De Grote Glind, where you will discover in a unique way how farmers used to live.

The cycle route takes you through the countryside, past one of the oldest mills in the Netherlands and a special castle. Along the way, you can step into the cheese farmer's clogs and take part in a cheese or butter-making workshop in the farmyard cheese dairy. Further on in Bennekom, you cycle past Landwinkel Buitenhorst. Step inside to sample the fresh tea, herbs, dairy or homemade pastries.
