A breeze in your face and endless views over rivers and harbours full of bobbing boats ... This cycle route takes you along the cosy marinas of West Brabant. Cycle along the Mark and Hollands Diep, immerse yourself in the maritime atmosphere and experience the ultimate waterfront holiday feeling. Hidden in the green banks of the Mark, are the marinas ‘t Lamgat and Nolleke Sas. Follow the meandering river to Zevenbergen, where you cross the Roode Vaart. Here you will see a small harbour where a number of boats can moor. If you take the exit here where you follow the Roode Vaart further north, you will arrive at the impressive industrial port of Moerdijk. This is one of the largest ports in the Netherlands. Behold the huge container ships and bustle, quite a contrast to the quiet and small-scale marinas... As you pass Oudenbosch, you also pass the cosy little town harbour. The harbour is right in the historical centre of this small town, known for its remarkable basilica. Cycling nodes take you automatically to the popular harbour on the Hollands Diep: Jachthaven Noordschans. For sailors and motor boaters, this is a popular base, as beautiful open waters such as the Volkerak and the Biesbosch can be quickly reached by boat from here. A wonderful place for you to enjoy a lively marina and stunning views!
