In the historic fishing town of Bunschoten-Spakenburg, immerse yourself in the fascinating history of this charming town. You can visit several museums here, such as Museum Spakenburg and the Klederdracht- en Visserijmuseum. Put your bike aside and stroll through the monumental harbour, a museum in itself! As you leave Bunschoten-Spakenburg, you again pass through beautiful polder areas and meander along the Eem towards Amersfoort. In the centre of Amersfoort, some great art and culture museums await you. How about the Mondrian House or Museum Flehite? From 'Keistad' Amersfoort, you cycle into the Arkemheen-Eemland nature reserves, back towards Spakenburg. These open polders are a National Landscape and are a unique habitat for countless meadow birds.
