Spread your wings together with the whole family between Wintelre, Veldhoven and Eindhoven! Look up a lot on the way, because in many places you will see flying things... Get to know the birds of Veldhoven Zoo, for example. You can see exotic birds such as parrots, parakeets and cranes, but also large birds of prey, vultures and owls. They have small mammals too, such as ring-tailed lemurs and reptiles. Exciting! At De Hazewinkel children's farm you can see animals that are more often found close to home. Greet them all: from pigs, deer, cows, goats and sheep to smaller animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and squirrels. In the aviaries, canaries and parakeets happily sing their songs. The larger birds, such as geese, pheasants and peacocks, will not be flying any time soon, but you can admire them here! Also visit the butterfly garden, where the butterflies flutter around you. To end the flight journey completely, stop by the Spottersweg in Eindhoven. This is a popular spot for spotters at Eindhoven Airport, where aircraft enthusiasts like to come to watch planes. Not surprising, because from here you have a clear view over the entire airport and the central runway. The large car park makes it easy to park your car and start your cycling tour from here. Cycle with your head in the clouds and feel as free as a bird in the sky!
